Position: Project Coordinator – Safe School Project
Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension
Duty station: Chiang Rai
JOB BACKGROUND: Project Coordinator will be a part of DRM team. This position will coordinate and facilitate the Comprehensive Safe School Project which includes planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting with schools, communities, relevant GOs and NGOs to meet the project’s goals, objectives and expectations as outlined in the project proposal and in accordance with Plan policies and procedures.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Project Manager in overall project management and operational plans;
• Provide trainings and meeting’s facilitation and coordination on project implementations;
• Through project partners, mentor and monitor the implementation of activities as operational and action plans as outlined project proposal as well as capacity building assessment
• Ensure project activities are implemented in accordance with project timeline and implementation outline.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Master in development studies, social sciences and community development fields ; at least four years’ experiences in training facilitation and working with children, youth and communities; computer literate; English skills; and indigenous language skills an added advantage.
