The T5p features a closed-back design for private listening in public environments. Its Ideal for portable devices, the T5p delivers the quality of beyerdynamic design in a headphone that’s perfect for your media player, music-playing smartphone, portable gaming device, laptop, or any other mobile source when you need high-resolution audio performance.
Custom “Tesla” Transducer Technology
The completely redesigned transducers achieve efficiency values of over one Tesla (a unit of measurement for magnetic flux density). That provides the listener with almost double as much volume at the same input level as traditional headphones.

Without exception, beyerdynamic manufactures the dynamic transducer systems that go into their headphones in-house. From the magnet and diaphragm to the careful wiring and circuitry, beyerdynamic controls quality at all levels of manufacturing, ensuring superior engineering in their headphones down to the smallest detail.
The T5p’s dynamic transducer offers high sound reproduction quality, is mechanically very robust, and needs only a small amount of operating voltage which increases efficiency. This increased efficiency results in greater power reserves for dynamic, undistorted sound and increased volume at the same input level, which can especially help to compensate for lower-powered sources such as portable media players and laptops. The extremely lightweight 32 Ohm voice coil provides transparency and increased impulse fidelity for unmatched detail from your favorite music.
Included Accessories for When You’re On the Go
Several accessories are included to help you get the most out of your T5p headphones. Connect the T5p to an airplane audio system with the included 3.5mm in-flight adapters.
