"Business opportunity. Just 350 baht investment required. Sell California-style picture-frames to stores. For example, 50 cm. x 60 cm. is a standard artist's canvas size. No one in Thailand sells frames this size. That is why I manufacture them. You buy the frame from me for 350 baht. You sell it to a merchant for 500 baht. You keep a 150 baht profit. The merchant has to mark it up and sell it for 1000 baht. That is a good price for a quality picture frame. I manufacture the frames here in Chiang Rai. You can sell in Chiang Rai, or all over Thailand, etc. I have a list of merchants to sell to.
You (or your translator) must have good Thai language skills, and medium English skills (to talk to me by g-mail, and to foreign customers.)
The "target" customers are artists who buy standard-sized (metric) artists' canvases and need to buy a frame to fit the canvas. No one else sells these or makes these in Thailand. Thais can go to a Thai picture-frame shop and have a frame made (this is too difficult for foreigners to do.) But affluent Thais do not like the frames available in Thailand. They prefer the modern-casual style of frames that they could buy in California. So I make frames that foreigners and wealthy Thais like.
I make frames in "standard canvas sizes" and can also make any other size. If you buy a frame from me and can not sell it, I will buy it back from you (if it is "like new"--not damaged or dirty.)
